UPDATE: Trawling the Ubi forums I found a tip that helped me out, so may do the same for others: I turned on my VPN client (I'm using NordVPN) and using a VPN tunnel I can get the app to go past Initializing. If anyone has any experience with this and may have the golden tip, I would definitely appreciate it! I cannot play any Ubisoft games on Ubisoft Connect as it doesn't allow offline play when Connect is re-installed. I'm very discouraged and pretty sure I can kiss my games goodbye unless I re-image my PC (if that would even help). I sent all this info + logs, msinfo and dxdiag logs to Ubisoft Support 3 weeks ago, all they did was ask me to send this exact info 2 weeks after I created the ticket. I temporarily turned off my firewall - didn't help either doesn't seem firewall issue. Tried using compatibility mode for Windows 8 - NOKĪdded all Ubisoft executables to my firewall as allowed - didn't help. I always use a freshly downloaded version. Re-installed Ubisoft Connect twice, once to the C-drive instead of the E-drive where I originally had it.
